The concept of Satan, aka the Father of Lies, the Prince of the Earth, the Ruler of the Air. There’s something about that name, there’s something about those titles that is quite striking. The Father of Lies, to think that the lie began with Satan, the enemy, the first to hate, the first to betray, the first to ruin.

What’s a lie? Something that isn’t true, to be the Father of Lies is implying that all lies stem from Satan, from the greatest lies to the smallest ones. In conjunction with the title “The Prince of the Power of the Air”, to be interpreted as Earth, one very well may make the inference that at the highest echelons of humanity, there are lies holding even them back fabricated by said being. Let’s pretend that Satan doesn’t exist (ala “Satan’s greatest lie is convincing the masses, the world that he doesn’t exist”), there are obviously powers at play within the higher rungs of society that dictate what does and what doesn’t happen (within their power, which we don’t even know the true extent of beyond what’s presented in media) – what we can and what we can’t have access to (we may very well may be a few decades behind the true technology of the time, but how would we possibly know?). Also, take note that this isn’t even accounting for extraterrestrial life yet, as there very well may or may not be.

Are we perhaps living within a cage of lies? The limits of our reality and our lives dictated by the tremendous amount of cultural-conditioning occurring, further compressed within the cage by our very own vices and the vices of those around us? Whereas we “sin”, we fall deeper and deeper into the slumber and sedation of this world? What would you personally say is the greatest lie next to Satan not existing? We have to take a look at what Satan represents; pride. The unwillingness to budge, the arrogance to destroy before submitting, to believe that ones way is right and there could be possibly no other. It’s incredible if you think about it, we live, “living” with the sight of one path to decent living, when there very well may be many we can’t possibly perceive as we currently are. Fantasies, upon fantasies, journeys among journeys. Yet, how could we ever know? Did it even ever occur to begin with? There are stories, but how could one ever possibly bring themselves to wholeheartedly believe them when nothing of such seems to occur in everyday life? How could everyday ever reach that marvelous standard if it never deviates from the path society swears up and down is the only path necessary, just, and good.Regardless, whether they did or did not happen, the distractions present in the modern-world are manifold. How could one possibly ever even conceive of a Wonderland within the world when they’re more than beyond content with simply watching Alice in Wonderland on their television? It’s difficult, honestly, I would imagine. How could one, who conceives and believes in said Wonderland, find it if everyone around him, including those who profess that their may be more, absolutely cling to this tremendously material society?

If even a dog will hide it’s bones for safekeeping, then what of the earth and it’s secrets?
